Razor Dirt Scooter (RDS)

Kick scooters have come a long way since they were introduced in the early 2000's. The Razor Scooters started distribution with The Sharper Image back in 1999 and have exploded on the scene ever since. It wasn't long before kids were doing tricks and turning them into a vessel for an extreme sport.

Their small wheels and low ride made them difficult (almost impossible) to ride anywhere but a smooth surface. The new Razor Dirt Scooter is not a thing and looks like a lot of fun. Check it out in the video below.

Summer Lovin

So if you are anything like me the summertime has got you craving some fun in the sun and maybe even a vacation. I'm in the mood to just go somewhere I have never been and rent a scooter and enjoy the country side. Only problem is I just got a new scooter and I doubt I could afford to bring it with me. So sigh in the mean time I will just have to enjoy my new mod style electric scooter.

So alas, instead of a vacation myself I'm at least going to feel like I am on a vacation while I am driving home from work each day on PCH. My Ride

Thought I would share a picture of my own kick scooter. I've had it for many years and this simple versatile piece of metal and wheels has truly brightened my life.  This photograph was taken on a recent trip to Santa Catalina Island, in Southern California. I brought it with me to ride through town and ended up being pleasantly surprised at how easy it made it to get around in the town where golf carts are the main mode of transportation.

This is absolutely amazing, I can't believe how much this resembles a transformer. So glad that the electric scooter is becoming more and more popular.

Safe Fun

Just like a car, when you are on anything with wheels it is important that you are aware of what it is that keeps you safe, and are constantly looking at your surrounding because I can assure you people are not looking out for us on our scooters. Kick scooters and their motor electric driven counterparts like the e200 electric scooter are super popular today as means of transportation and toys. I personally enjoy mine because of its fun and convenience to get around quick.
Safety is important so we can all continue to have fun, so just remember the following

-Pick the scooter that correctly fits you individually
-Wear a helmet and rubber soled shoes
-Don't forget pads if you are planning on getting tricky like the boy below
-And if riding at night bright colors, a light, and reflectors are crucial.
But most of all have fun!
